SIGNALIZATION TRANSFORMERSSignalization Transformers

Also known as UPS transformers, these transformers supply electrical cabinets in signalisation housings by the railway sites.

Catenary Input Isolation Transformers

These transformers provide galvanic isolation between the catenary side transformer and UPS cabinets. They are usually single-phase type.

Line Input Isolation Transformers

These transformers provide galvanic isolation between the utility line and UPS cabinets. They are only used when there is no power in the catenary line. The
special winding structure of these Scott-T connected transformers allow a more balanced distribution of single phase current to three phase line.

Signalisation Housing Supply Transformers

These tranformers are used to supply electrical cabints in signalisation housings from a main station. To reduce the transmission losses, the voltage is stepped up at the station and stepped back down at the housing.
