ALL-IN-ONE THYRISTOR CONTROLLED REACTOR (TCR) MODULES FOR FAST POWER FACTOR CONTROL 
 
ASR Series thytistor-controlled reactor (TCR) modules are integrated solutions for fast PFC applications upto 400V and 30kVAr. Single phase shunt reactors, thyristor converters and control modules are all combined in one compact system to provide the user with an all-in-one system solution. This way, installation time, cost and complexity is minimized. Reactive power rating of ASR modules can be adjusted via front panel pushbuttons or through Modbus RTU. In addition, they can be programmed to automatically minimize the capacitive load on the system and support dynamic power factor control (PFC) applications where extremely fast reactive power compensation is necessary and helps the user avoid any penalties due to low power factor. ASR modules can be easily integrated into existing power factor control panels. Their modular structure allows for scaling the power level with no limitation. Internal thermal protection is available in all ASR modules.
